Engine Best gasket for a water pump on a 258?

I recently switched out water pumps and now it is leaking from the gasket. I probably should not have used the one supplied with pump but now I get to replace it. What is the best gasket to go with? I am leaning toward fel-pro

Use this on everything now (with the exception of LubeLockers for diff covers)

Fel-Pro for me for sure. I believe the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l engine uses a # 13877. And for the sealant, I prefer the Permatex "Ultra Blue" for water or wet area gaskets.

Over the years, I've used every type of sealant imaginable looking for that one perfect one, it always comes back to old school for me, I use whatever gasket, don't care, and a thin layer of permatex 2 or 2B gasket sealer on both sides(comes in a tube, sticky green ), never ever had a leak, and scrapes off with a putty knife or roloc wheel when replacement was needed. silicone always leaked for me, don't know why.
