I had to drill out a T45 star bolt that held the seatbelt to the wall. Since I was standing outside the jeep drilling in, back toward me, the hole wasn’t completely straight. Not horribly off, but not straight. I also have the body open on that support due to rust. I can access the back where the bolt is captured by what’s left of a nut.

Is there a good way to epoxy a nut onto the inside of the cavity to capture a new bolt? I can see myself getting epoxy on the threads and then never being able to get the bolt back out. I’m thinking some teflon tape over the threads would keep everything lined up? Maybe some grease? Neverseize would probably just get everywhere, lol.

I was thinking of epoxying the nut to a fender washer, then trying to attach the fender washer to the spot where the bolt needs to go.
