My dash has this piece on it and I have not seen other dashes with the same piece. Paint is same generation as the rest of the jeep, so it has been on a while. Anyone have info on the piece?

If it is, he was very good at the sheet metal. Seams are perfect, corners are rounded. It is angled to the driver. I think it is something someone purchased, hoping someone has seen one before.
