Black Bear & Imogene Passes

ima puss what can i say i like being alive.
I like being alive too but I think it's the quality of life not the quantity that matters.
I'd rather live a short fast life (too late for that) than a long simple life.

There is a "road" up there, others have made it, I can do it, you may not be able to drive a finish nail between the cheeks but I can do it too.
And I know , beyond any doubt, that road was built for my CJ5 .:D

Sounds great.
I might be a little biased but I say the best place for four wheeling is the mountains around Silverton, Ouray and Telluride Colorado.

I'm up for an annual ride, as long as there is also a WIP ride as well.

I'm in too on the first part but sorry I don't text so well what's the WIP?
Is Dave gona be "Trail Boss" then or can I?:oops:OK will let Dave be Trail Boss this time.:notworthy:

WIP = Work In Progress :)

Although, I am sure I can get the wife's Liberty through some of the trails.

A WIP ride would have to include a few garage stops, and of course a few beers. My CJ is a long ways off from being ready to wheel.

Do we drive around the country to dif garages and bars or stay in the same state for this WIP? We need to RFI on this.
I'm pretty sure the Trail Boss is gona nix any beers on the Black Bear though.

FYI, RFI=request further information.

not sure how that one will work, as long as I get to go on a trail ride :D

I have to agree on the no beers on the trail, any trail.

WOW! That is fantastic! What a great trail, thats what i'm talking about! Super photos! I am going to have to trailer my rig up there. Thank you for sharing :notworthy:

I would say there would be cause for a serious "pub crawl" in Telluride.

An annual jeep ride is a great idea but it's getting too late to do it this year. With all the snow the higher elevations get around here it takes half a summer for the snow to melt. Black Bear and Imogene passes don't open up until about the first week in July. If you guys want to meet up here in the San Juan mountains it should be next year from July to Sept.
