Black Bear & Imogene Passes
CJKrawler
Old Time Jeeper
I say it sound like a great plan. I am in for it.
An annual jeep ride is a great idea but it's getting too late to do it this year. With all the snow the higher elevations get around here it takes half a summer for the snow to melt. Black Bear and Imogene passes don't open up until about the first week in July. If you guys want to meet up here in the San Juan mountains it should be next year from July to Sept.

towing the jeep, thats about $1000 in gas to get there and back.
I need to borrow somebodys diesel.
If this turns into a reality I will definetly come up, count me in! I have the time and its not to far from Mesa, Az.Well it sounds like we need to start a new thread:
"1st Annual Jeep-CJ,com Trail Ride"
If I were to post such a thread I might find myself organizing the vacations for dozens of jeepers coming from all over the US. I would like to meet up and ride with those of you that I have been blogging with but I don't want this to get out of hand.
Let me think about this for a while. I'm sure we can make it happen.
just over 1,500 miles for me it might be cheaper for me to ship the jeep out there rather than tow it
Don't be a wimp, drive it.
well the only problem with drivin it that far is breakin something while i'm out there and not being able to get it fixed or get it home. if it were just drivin out there and back yeah i'd try it, (i done all of the work on it if i can't trust myself who can i trust?) but your talking about goin offroad and that means a high possibility of problems, big problems.
