When 'old-school' brake bleeding. Start with brake farthest from MC, and work to closest.
If power brakes-Have the engine run'n.
Pump pedal 3-5 times and hold pressure down on the pedal.
Open and close bleeder before the pedal bottoms out in travel.
Have the 'pedal pusher' understand that they can NOT release pedal pressure as the pedal 'sinks' to the floor.
When all is good-test drive.
Repeat in about a month or 2.
MC bleed-If power brakes, have engine run'n and use full pedal stroke with the line fitting just barely loose to each reservoir.

So I broke down and bought another new MC as I know sometimes remands have issues. Got it home installed bled and still no better. Great pedal when turned off drive it and well it's scary to say the least. I'm running out of ideas as to what the problem can be.

thank you i will check the proportioning valve first and if it checks out then i will give that front back front bleeding method a try. i want my jeep back on the road as there have been a bunch of really nice days and it pains me to just watch it sit in the driveway

Use a small hand pump only.....
Very little PSI needed.

Since you’ve added valve stems, I’d be tempted to add a line to each fed from a secondary brake fluid reservoir just to make darn sure you don’t get carried away and force more air down the lines....... would also help keep from removing that lid every little bit.....

And--Run a hose from the bleed nipple into a small jar with brake fluid in it.
Easy to see bubbles, and doesn't let air back into the system.

Well life is life I just now got back to messing with it. Seems I get a good pedal briefly even while running then back to the same old same old. However I have a spot of good news. I think my problem lies with the passenger side bleeder screw. I'm going to try replacing it and see if that fixes the problem
