Just got my replacement brake line installed on rear brakes, was a little shocked at what it cost, roughley 50 bucks, it is the line that attaches to the 2 rear brake lines and is attached to the axle, basicly a T from master cylinder, It works great, another step forward on the build, yee haa.

Wow! You are right. Very pricey.

I know we all hate the guy that gives you the "I could have gotten you such a deal", but for anyone reading this, I just purchased the brake line for the same application, only for a 4" lift on Amazon for $29.99 w/free shipping. Braided stainless w/plastic covering so it is DOT legal.

I know some folks like fancy but I wouldn’t spend that kind of money when a rear Wagner rubber brake hose works just fine and only cost $9. BH97659 Goes to a 76-81 dodge trucks and over 23” and fit CJ’s (note: the 20 has a 3/8” retaining bolt and the 44 is 7/16”
Or you can go to Napa with your hose and match to any number of vehicles.

Thanks for all the input guys, Guess I need to do a little more research b4 buying things. It's a little tough for me on some things, I live 22 miles of dirt road b4 I get to Blacktop, it's easy for me to order online and get it shipped UPS, cheaper than driving the 90 mile round trip to the nearest parts store.

The thing to know is the fitting type if searching for an alternative hose. CJ has a 3/8 -24 fittings then just choose what length hose you want.
