Glad to be back on the Forum!

My name is Thomas Broach (owner of BroachWorx Fabrication) and this is my 1985 CJ7 .

This Jeep has had many changes theough the years and currently sits on 37" Coopers with a very custome SOA setup. It has Chromoly Scout Dana 44s front and rear. Im still running the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l now with Aces Dueces wild fuel injection.

This Jeep was actually purchased by Huntsville Utilities (AL.) many moons ago for my father when a transformer blew over head of his 84 causing it to be taken into there impound.

I've had many memories in this Jeep with him and now get to continue those with my daughter.

So far so good! Very early into trial run but the only quandary I currently have is a fluctuation in fuel pressure that is not registering in performance so with be testing with a mechanical guage soon.

I love the vents on the sides of the hood. I did the same as I dealt with heat from the larger engine. Curious about the red circles outlining those vent holes. Something you make? I used rubber grommets made for running wiring through panels. The screens on the inside are a piece of left over rain gutter cover I had laying around and cut to size.

Yep! They are .090 aluminum dimple died trim pieces. I say something similar on a custom motorcycle one time and loved the look. It has a protruding stainless mesh on the back side.
