Caliper anchor nut specs

Does anyone know what the torque lbs on caliper anchor nuts is ?

FSM MR 252 says caliper anchor bracket to steering knuckle is 100 ft lbs. service recheck torque 90-110

My research shows 85 ft/lbs.
Do the torque setting in a chris-cross pattern.
I agree that does sound high for any 3/8" dia bolt......

At least it is for 79 and down.
Edit: I know they changed brakes in 1978 and again in 1980, I also know that 1982 caliper anchor bracket bolts is 100 ft lbs. You're in between those two years so not sure if you have a early 80 or late 80.

The 80s parts change was between 81-82
So, 81 and down caliper anchor bracket bolts is 85 ft lbs
82-86 is 100 ft lbs

Here it is. If you need anything'80 specific just ask. The FSM is better than any manual out there.

Thanks Guys for the info. My Jeep is an 1980, but I think the axle is a 1978. Everything I have order so far that fits. 80 parts don't.
