Carb Choke wire- '79 CJ5

Ok, where does it run to? When I got the CJ (my first CJ) it was already corroded and wrapped around a bunch of other wires. Where is it supposed to run?

There should be an electric choke stat on the passenger side of the carb if Im remembering correctly.

so it runs from the carb to the carb? doesnt seem to make sense to me.

Ha just pmed you. I thought there was a wire with a connector that came off the wiring harness and hooked directly into the choke stat to warm the spring inside there expanding it and thus shutting off the choke. Yours is a little older with a V-8 so it may have gone off of tubes that transferred the heat. Can you get any pics? Been awhile since I was around a V-8 powered Cj.

Scrap that. Not even the wire I was thinking. I'm looking at one that looks like its coming off the alternator plug. End looks like this
