trying to get a rebuild for my carb. Seems the PO put an older MC2100 on and I've having trouble finding the part number to order a kit. only numbers i can locate are near the bottom front. Can someone tell me if this is the number im looking for?
Is this on a 8 cyl.? I think it is. Going by that the V-8s had the motorcraft carb on them already. You should be able to order one from Napa. Its a popular swap on the I-6 and most times comes from a Ford that had the smaller 1.08 venturi's. That # your showing looks to be on the plastic adapter / gasket plate and won't get you anywhere. There should be a tag on it somewhere but often times these are gone on a 30 plus year old Jeep. Look for numbers on the carb body itself. I'll check around mine when I get home and see if I can find anything for you.
unfortunatly the plate is missing. I'll start disassembling it tonight and hopefully be able to find a number on it. if not, can i just order a universal rebuild kit for the 2100 somewhere?
