Wouldn't even waste my time with the BBD or especially a Weber. BBD is a POS and the Weber goes on 1800cc air cooled VW engines. Shoot, my riding mower has a larger carb than that 38 Weber.

In your case I would install a 2100/2150 and never look back.

Nothing wrong with the OEM, Carter BBD. IF-you know how to tune it. Been running one for 32+ years on my CJ.
It's the only Carb that is SMOG legal for my Jeep in Ca.
