Internet access is pretty spotty here in the south west and weak now. After the white sands we headed for Tombstone Arizona. Most everything is set for tourists there and it doesn't take long to blow a couple hundred bucks. From there we headed east again. Went over Emery pass, a very steep and winding road with some great views. Passed a zink mine on our way over the pass. They sure do have some big toys to play with. The picture doesn't really show the size well.

Pretty uneventful day today. Just driving through the high desert of New Mexico. Saw lots of cattle and brush. Ended up in Fort Sumner. Going to take a day off and see if there's any tourist stuff to do.

We visited te Billy the kid museum and grave site here in Fort Sumner this morning. Some say that it isn't Billy in the grave. They claim someone else was mistaken for Billy and he lived to be an old man in California.

Saturday we visited the Frontier museum in Abilene TX. Very clean and informative. Not cluttered with a bunch of old farm equipment like some others. Don't get me wrong, I like old farm equipment but this place is more about teaching the history of the area. A must see if you're in Abilene.

Yeah I haven't heard of those either. Since you are out that way. Try Carlsbad Cavern. And Guadeloupe mtns national park. And Big Bend national park. And hwy 90 is very scenic west of Del Rio

I took Belizeans suggestion and headed towards Big Bend Texas. Stopped in Langtry Texas and visited the Judge Roy Bean visitor center. If you read up a little on him you'll find that he was a real colorful character. From there we moved on to Big Bend. What a beautiful place this is. Spent a couple days here and going to be moving on today. In the selfie the background is Mexico. Also I think the delivery truck might have some jeep parts for someone. Picture of the river is the Rio Grande. This is the second time I've seen it. First time was in Silverton Colorado last August. It was a lot smaller there.
