Hey all,

I have been using a homemade charcoal canister since I did my swap and it has worked ok, but while I was at the junkyard this weekend I snagged a canister off of an old suburban. The canister has tank inlet and purge outlet. The outlet was run to a vacuum port on the TBI. Can I do the same thing with an LS engine (run the line to a vacuum port)? If not, is there harm in leaving that port open to atmosphere to allow the tank to vent through the charcoal canister? I just don’t want fuel fumes in my garage or while wheeling on a hot day.
