Chevy 305 Distributor

The rolled Yj Im grabbing had dizzy damage. Im thinking to just replace the whole thing. Not knowing much about the Chevy 305 does the below link seem like what I want. Or is there something else you chevy motor guys recommend?

It depends, Howell makes 2 different kits,( I think you have a howell right?) one for computer controled and one that's not. That one would be for the NON computer controled.
The nom puter one usually has the largh dia. cap while the puter controled one has a small dia. cap.

Any pre 1981 HEI will work. All GM small and big blocks are the same.

Yes its a Howell. I saw 2 different versions , small cap/ large cap thats why I was wondering. Still dont have the Jeep here yet so I guess I'll wait and see. Just was bored and looking up parts.

Its an '83

This was just a question I was pondering while Im waiting to get the Jeep. Dont worry I'll have questions but be able to take plenty of pics once its here.

I got the go ahead from the seller that the salvage certificate is there. You had to know it would happen on the holiday weekend. Im going camping over this weekend then paying for it next weekend. Once my upgrade of AAA is good ( around the 16th ) itll get delivered.
