While under my 1971 CJ5 working on the parking brake I noticed the return spring connected to the clutch fork. One end of the spring is correctly connected to a hole on the clutch fork. The other is connected to a wire wrapped around the brake line splitter. I am guessing this is not the original spring connection point. Looking around the area I could not find any obvious spots to connect that end of the spring. Could anyone post a photo of how the spring is supposed to connect?

From the factory there would have been a metal tab through one of the bolt holes that end of spring went into.

Mine was OEM from the rod to a hole on the bell housing.
