I used to use a CJ specific cover. It was a little expensive but fit with or without a hard top. A small pop-up four post awning also works well.

Best thing is some type of shelter for a CJ to really survive and thrive. I bought mine over 41 years ago. First 6 - 7 years it was outside with a soft top or bikini top with me even wiping dry probably a few hundred times. That’s where most of the weathered look came from. Most of the rest of the time in a nice garage. That’s the only reason it’s not swiss cheese now.

Carcovers.com will have your year and model. Probably a couple hundred bucks. On or off in under 5 minutes. Best product, I used one for two years once. Still have it in its bag in the garage just in case

These are great for carrying in a small bag and then throw in quickly/easily if caught in a popup shower or out in the driveway.
