CJ7 Engine Swap

Needing some help jeepers, I have a 1984 CJ7 that I am doing an engine swap in. I am swapping out a inline 4 cyl for a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l inline 6 cyl that is out of a 1987 Wrangler. My problem is that I am doing away with my computer but do not know how to wire around the computer system mainly because of the distributor and the two plugs for the control module are tied into the computer wiring harness. This is my first time attempting something like this so I am very much a newbie when it comes to this swap. Any help from you would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for looking at this!

Look up the Nutter By-Pass, this will remove the computer control for the distributor.

Nutter it. My 89 YJ has the same motor as the one your putting it. very easy to do and gets rid of all the . The nutter will have you cut 2 wires going into the computer and route them to the wires coming out of the ISM. very easy.
