I did mine last year and they spun right off with my Milwaukee 18V cordless impact. They should be high-grade bolts.

A soak of PB Blaster overnight might help if you haven't tried that yet.

Not sure about the application of heat, given the proximity to the rear main seal. Also, I don't like the idea of applying too much heat to a crankshaft. I'd be cautious about this. Others might chime in.

Also how do you know how much torque you're using?
 
I read the factory torque setting in my Jeep Technical Service Manual under FLYWHEEL REPLACEMENT Section 2A-11.
I figured my flywheel might be factory installed and original

I appreciate the help!
