CJ7 Makeover

Helping a friend build his new CJ7 .He traded an ATV for it.

Stripped to the bare frame, POR15
New crossmember and section of frame welded in.
2.5" Lift Kit New Bushings/UBolts
New Fuel and Brake Lines
YJ Tub Underneath POR15 Still have some welding on the tub so Not Finished
Inside will be Hurculined

Has a T-176 /Dana 300
Will be AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l /4.0 Head and Fuel Injection
It has an AMC20 and Dana 30 Narrow Trac but soon to be a Scout Dana 44 Rear

Great project! An ATV huh? Was it a good trade?

He had 1K in the ATV.He also has a Yamaha Banshee so it was secondary.

The Jeep owner had about 2500$ with reciepts, But it hadnt seen daylight in 10-12 yrs.[Storage]
Its not a rebuild but more of an overhaul as we had a good starting point.

that looks awesome. Although I dont care for the shinny rock catchers for running rails. I would suggest that you make sure you get some paint on top of that POR. All times I have use it, it has peeled. It breaks down in sunlight.
