Trying to adjust clutch (new) on a 61 CJ5 , 4 cylinder, has a cable, can turn cleavis, to shorten, but can not get it back on the mount, have to turn it back down, resulting in no adjustment. Is there a way to hold it, like when you push in the clutch, so it will go back on the mount? Thanks
Found 4 or 5 holes in the bellhousing just under where the cable goes in, put a screw driver in and was able to hold the clutch fork fowared, making the cable go on the mounting.
