Just remember the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and AMC 232 i6 both came in so any other cars. I have an online 6 in my jeep and the gremlin parts have come in handy.
That is a water pump pulley. I have only been able to find single groove crank pulleys. I'm leaning towards ordering a used one from one of the many used Jeep suppliers...
Is there a list of such used part dealers? I've searched eBay and the like with no luck. I found a bolt-on option at BJ's Full Sized Jeep parts. I'm not sure how that will turn out.
I swapped out the water pump pulley today and still looking for the crank pulley. I had a moment today looking at what I have and briefly wondered if I could skip the crank pulley upgrade and buy a shorter belt from the double water pump pulley to the power steering pump, but I don't think there is enough travel in the PS bracket. Then I remembered the travel on the alternator is very good. Has anybody tried this without the double pulley on the crankshaft and used only the water pump double pulley?
