My Transfer Case has been pissin gear oil lately. Gunked it off and it appears to be blowing out at the shift rods and running down the case. I thought that was odd since that is near the top of the case, but anyway, is it possible to do them without dropping anything, except the front shaft?? It looks like I can get in there pop the shifter and get cover off no problem. I also read if u can drill a small hole on each side of the seal, and put a couple of screws in it will pop the seal right out, when the screws bottom out on the shoulder, makes sense to me. Anybody done it in the jeep??? Seems doable.

Yes you can-Tight but doable--

Thanks for the vote of confidence LG, cause ur the man. Looks tight, I got a small air drill and small screw gun, worst case, I'll drop the plate and go in that way, and while Im at it, I know of a fresh 300 locally... cheap!!:chug:

Get a exploded view of that 300 and you'll see how they attach.
Get the seals from NAPA. Get 3 just in case:D(BTDT:o)

Done, wasn't as bad as I thought, once the driveshaft was out of the way. I drilled a 3/32 hole on each side of the seal, and tried to use screws to pop em, but that didn't work, so I just stuck a small pick in each hole and pried em out. Way easier than dropping the plate, and it's dry again, for now.:chug:
