Working o. The Dana 300 now. New gaskets and installing a twin stick. I've seen mentioned in order to get front 4 high alone, a detent notch needs to be made to one of the shafts. Anyone done this before that can shed a little light on this? I tried it out and I do get everything but front 4 high.

I didnt make any notches and have front wheel only capability. I do, however, need to shift the rear in first, then the front, then shift the rear back to neutral. I hope that make sense

Me either. Goes in fine. I have heard people talk about this though??

I can isolate the front alright but only in low. I was wanting to be able to isolate the front in high also. I can li ve with that, but if there is a mod to isolate the front in high, I want to do it before it's put on the cj.

Have any of you had any problems with it popping out of low? I'm on the bubble about getting the jb conv. detent ball and spring kit. Mine seems like it locks in pretty solid. I habe also considered just shimming the springs with small washers to increase the spring tension.
