All the typical online sources for a new dash pad for my 85 seem to be sold out.

Does anyone have a source for a black one with w/white letters?

I was looking for new.

I just found a good used one for almost new price via an FBook CJ page.

Everyone seems to have them in stock in 24, now they're all on backorder.

And...the FBook Group was a scam.
It turns out there are many out there and the moderators & admins are in on the scam.
They must take their time or use bots, because they have 15-20K members
One was called Jeep CJ5 /CJ7 Parts - Restoration, which is now gone.
There is still one called JEEP CJ5 - CJ7 - CJ8 PARTS RESTORATION from where I thought I was buying that dash pad from a "high contributing moderator" who is now gone, but the group still exists.

So...still looking for a black dash pad

That sucks! That's why I gave up FB Jeep Groups years ago. They're all infested with these part scams. I've found buying local through Marketplace is the most fool proof way to make sure you're not getting ripped off. Maybe Ebay if the seller has been around for years and has hundreds of positive reviews.

I was looking at marketplace a couple days ago. There was a $1700 7. It wouldn’t take too many parts to make that worth the purchase price, lol. It had the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and 5 speed, hard top and half doors that I’d want.
