Dash Trim Items

I have finally got the jeep to 90% perfect. I now am focusing on small items to get it perfect. All my guages work great, but the chrome rings around them on the dash are somewhat rusted and showing wear. Is there a place to find simple items like that without buying the entire assembly? I am trying to focus on the details and small things, but having problems locating them. Thanks in advance.

If you can't find them you may have to polish them up yourself. It's tedious, but use very fine steel wool and some rubbing compound, and lots of elbow grease.

SOS pads work great for cleaning rust off of chrome. I had bought a chevy 4x4 pickup once that had chrome wheels that looked really bad so one weekend I spent a couple of hrs cleaning them and then went after them with some SOS pads. That Monday one of the guys I worked with asked me how much my new wheels cost and this is the look I gave him

I will give the sos and steel wool pads a try. I considered it, but was afraid it would cause damage. Thanks for the great advice.

Be sure to tape off the lens so you don't scratch them up
