new to site...

anyone have info on 1971 CJ5 Dauntless Buick 225 V6 cooling?
did it originally have a shroud?

running 200 at standstill, nor sure if radiator is OE...

Welcome fdny, my '67 Dauntless Buick 225 V6 has a shroud, I believe they all came off the line with a shroud.

I have a 22"...

have not been able to find a listing for a shroud for 22" anywhere

Mine is the stock 17". Maybe you could build yourself one? Make a cardboard mock-up and use it for a pattern for sheet metal.

When I have an engine running too hot, usually the first thing I check would be the thermostat, then consider a professional cooling system flush. A shroud will help, but not a lot. Radiators can also be rebuilt.

Ditto on checking thermostat,belts,radiator flow,fan blades, and coolant mix ratio,etc.
For what it's worth there is a re-pop fan shroud for the 22" radiator.I have one on my '69 . Google partsdude4x4. Enjoy. Mike
