Dressing up the engine!

So im pulling the motor this weekend and replacing all the gaskets on it. also came into an engine dress up kit.. and well im thinking ill want some new headers but i cant decided if i want to go with black..

heres a quick into to my CJ5

building it to be show jeep and enter it into parades. so its all black on the outside and inside nothing showy or fancy there but under the hood i want to pop.. im not doing red or blue hoses anywhere i want to keep it chrome/polished steel and black as much as possible...

i have chrome valve covers
timing chain cover
battery bracket
dip stick
oil pan


maybe ill get the chrome brake booster and what not but not til later.

and the block im painting black as well as the intake mani. so... should the headers be black as well or chrome?

Sounds like you're making great strides. It's going to be so cool. Wrestling w/ my computer trying to download the artwork for your decals. Will work it out. Sounds like you're going to have a Great weekend at any rate. Hope to tinker w/ mine as well...
