I have a '74 and have an EFI unit I got for free so thinking I'll do a conversion to allow for slower hill climbs (without stalling/flooding), and more off camber and high angle of attack at various altitudes around the country without worry. I'm wondering why there are two vent lines going to the canister -- both coming from the same part of the fuel tank? Specifically, could I pull one line off and use it as the EFI return line?

Thanks --

Before you think about using it as a return run an air hose to it to make sure it isn't blocked.

good point. I know the canister is probably jacked -- slight smell of fuel persists. Anyone know if they can be rebuilt?
