Has anyone done this?

My Cj still has the stock external plastic hubs on the rotors. I plan on going through them in the next week to check the bearings and seals.

Would anyone know what vehicle I need to look for to have a replacement and accept the same tolerances for the spindles?

Thanks for the help!:chug:

I have converted to internals using the Warn Kit #37132, for the Jeep CJ, this kit uses the oem spindles. A major advantage is that the hublocks will not come loose like the oem ones will even with front lockers. The big disadvantage is that they cost a fortune.

I'm running F150 hubs/discs with Chevy spindles on a Dana 44 . Set up will work on a Dana 30 as well. Many articles out there as it is a bolt-up.

I kept destroying hubs with 6 bolts. I tried studs and locktite and helicoils with studs.

Not a problem since the conversion. :D

Cool. Thanks 73.

I didn't want to pay the big $$$ that the Warn kit sales.

I'll do more research.

Get a set of good hubs like Mile Marker, and use threaded studs.
I run a DL in my front and have no hub loosing issues.
BTW-The OEN Warn hub on our CJs is a junk zinc casting.
