:ww: from Michigan. Nice CJ. Try to keep it original as possiable. It is a classic and it will hold or gain value.

Wow! Good for you! Looks gorgeous! :)

Wow! Very nice! Welcome aboard!

It don't need restoring

To a certain extent, you are right. That being said, it has some dry rot from sitting(in a garage, under a cover) and needs some cleaning and touching up. But overall, it is in awesome shape.

:ww:from Missouri. Very nice looking eagle.

Thank you. It will be the second Golden Eagle I've owned, the second CJ5 I've owned, the fifth CJ I've owned and the sixth Jeep I've owned. You could say I've had an obsession over the years. :D

Yeah, I kick myself for getting rid of my first Golden Eagle, a 77 CJ6 , AMC 304 , Q-trac. It was in cherry shape but I knew, I just knew that I needed a newer(TJ) Jeep that got better mileage, had A/C, etc. About a month after "upgrading" I realized that while the TJ was nice, it certainly lacked character and, more importantly, fun.

I plan on keeping it as stock as possible.

Thanks, it was a Craigslist find.

Congrats and welcome!:chug:

From that description Id like to kick you too. :D We all make mistakes. I still miss my Scrambler. Seriously though that CJ5 is pretty sweet.

I just noted that I mistyped that my 77 was a CJ6 . While that would cool and ultra rare since they stopped making the CJ6 in 75, it was a CJ7 .

And yeah, I was dumb fro getting rid of it but hey, it was just more opportunity to look for others I guess.

I was just giving you a ribbing. I figured out the typo. Id like some a/c in my Cj. I may add it to my Limited project.
