we had alot of rain and snow melt here and it is flooded everywhere. i drove to the babysitters house in the car and saw this.



so i drove back home put the kids in the jeep to make it thru it. then some guy in a dodge charger saw me go thru and try it lets just say he didnt make it.

not when you have 7" of snow one day, then the next day is 45, and the next day you get hit with a storm that dumped 2.5" of rain in 4 hours.

i have about 3" of lift with 31" tires and the deepest part was about 2"s from the top for the tire. good thing i use water resistant grease in my wheel bearings, tierods, and balljoints.

after deep water will need fluid changes for your Transmission , transf, axles.

Take your dist cap off and make sure water splash/condesation is not inside the cap.

For guys that play in water alot... JeepHammer came up with a nice upgrade that the front spindle are is drilled and grease zerk is installed so it can be filled with grease and is a barrier to water entry.

i already have everything water tight. the dizzy and everything. water wasnt high enough to get in Transfer Case or tranny. didnt even get the oil pan wet. i play in mudd all the time so i made sure everything was sealed up. that has some good info though.
