Meat, that is a closed knuckle axle, either a D25 or d 27, we need more info when you ask questions and the picture helped
we also need info like what Transfer Case what tranny, it seems many of them take different fluids.
You did not fill out the Jeep you had in your profile so we can not even figure out where to start.
so seeing as you have a closed knuckle jeep, I assume it is a pre 72, or an early jeep, that knuckle you see you can pull the spindle in front of, however you can risk the integrity of the threads holding it on, plus you should have new gasket kit before trying. The thing is packed with grease inside, a bunch of it.
If you decide to pull it be very careful with those bolts, use a very good penetrating oil before trying to take them off. the main problem is that is cast and the threads, being so old can come right on out with that bolt and once that is done you are looking for new knuckles. You do nit want to heily coil those threads as the heily coil will be way harder than the iron and cause problems. No they do not make those knuckles any more.
Most guys only let professional shops do this.'
what a lot of guys do is make a "butter" up of grease and oil and swab a bit on the exposd parts of that knuckle every few trips of after wheeling the rig, keeps the thing lubed on the outside and working well.

Good point. The info I gave you above is for a stock 65 CJ5

I am thinking that everything is stock since it still has the hurricane 4
and looks like original under, that pic is not of my knuckle just one I found on the net,

the Transfer Case and tranny are both leaking pretty bad, so that needs to be taken care of 1st, then brakes need a little work and front end needs some attention.
now the hurricane 4 runs like a dream, needs no work

You should pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual. They'll serve you well. Then any additional info you need you can pick up right here.
