Looking at using Herm's steering box upgrade for my 67 CJ5 /V6. Herm recommends using the Ford reverse rotation steering gear from 80-97. Every one I looked up has an 3/4" input shaft with a spline count of 29 with a flat. Is this the same as the very common 3/4" steering U Joint with a spline count of 36 by not counting the splines on the flat?
