Just bought these brand new...got the back two mounted, now the issue. It does not appear that the center hole in the wheel is quite wide enough to fit over the factory hub assembly.
83 CJ7 350 tbi, TH350, D300 twin sticked & clocked, narrowed Chief D44 Eaton Elocker & Moser shafts, Explorer 8.8 Detroit locker, 410's, RE 4.5" spring lift 1" body lift, 35" Claws, cage tied to frame, Corbeau baja seats, HD tie rod and draglink, u-bolts flipped, custom skid plate and sliders, Warn 9.5ti winch with Amsteel synthetic line
I'd take them back and get the right wheels.
I guess you could take them to a machine shop and have the holes opened up but that would be my last choice.
I doubt I can return them...I bought them from Autoplicity online and had the tires mounted on them locally....I just assumed that since the bolt pattern was correct that they would fit...what a terrible mistake.
Dang I feel bad for you.
Dismount tires and sell wheels at a discount on craigslist or ebay? Buy the right ones and never look back.
I know easier said than done.
This is certainly my mistake...but I have scheduled to have them opened to 108MM by a local machine shop so they will fit...the additional cost is irrelevant at this point because these are the rims I want and selling them at a loss only to have to purchase rims I really don't want is my last resort.
