Quick overview- Emissions test required for registration renewal, go to test station and emissions end passed with flying colors, but the Evap test failed:mad:. Ok, something/hose on the fuel side is leaking. Every hose was replaced when I upgraded to a 21 gal poly tank, all of them. The roll over valve comes to mind as I had a problem with it 4 yrs ago, and I discovered the plastic nipples are cracked. I completely by-passed the roll over and looped the hoses together, thinking this should fix the problem. Nope, failed again. Came home and looked at every hose well and the only ones that have any visible cracks are the fuel filler and tank vent hose, bad cracks too. When I upgraded the tank I had trouble getting those hoses, in fact, I only found them available from the big box stores offered by Crown so thats where I got them from 4 yrs ago. I'm less than amused that hoses that are only 4 yrs old look worse than 40 yr old hoses  The hoses take a few pre formed bends and I'm not sure if I could just take hose from the parts house to fit the bends I need. Anyone else run into this problem?

Have you considered "Hose Man"?, They have a store located in Ontario. I use their heavy duty fuel filler and vent hoses.

I'll give them a call, thank you sir.

They do make custom hoses, or at least they did, so I hope you can get something to fit. I moved my gas filler over to the passenger side and up higher than the rear location so it would fill easier. This allows the use of straight hoses rather than curved. An aluminum corner guard was installed to cover the existing hole and a few dents also at the oem gas filler location.

They could'nt help in the prebent dept, but they did have some straight HD fuel rated hose. I said every bad word I knew and finally got the two in. With any luck they will last more than 4 years. Thanks for the tip Torxhead ;)
