I got the linkage ironed out for now here's some pics let me know what you think or what you might of done different. Thanks :chug:

If it runs good that is all that counts. :chug:

Are you able to do wide open throttle? If it works, it works. I think I would try to come up with a way to line the cable up square with the throttle Pittman. How is spring tension on the peddle, I was surprised how tired my foot/leg would get with too much effort to push on the skinny peddle.:D

I dont think im getting full throttle seems kinda weak at the top end but im still tuning it, i'v been playing with a weber for 4 years so the MC2100 is new to me. I'm thinking about finding all the down pull linkage some a stock donor. my intake throttle bracket mounts are a little different. but even with the carb not fully tuned is runns better then my old weber. my old linkage wasnt any better my "junkyard/swapmeetjeep". any after martket throttle cables out there for jeeps? custom stuff?

I have heard that the V8 cable works better when switching to the MC.

IS the V8 cable shorter? because its not the lengh of the cable although a short cable may help with a cleaner look my issue is my brake booster is right smack in the way i'v seen other P/B Cjs with the same set up with plenty of clearance. my booster is kinda big or my intake sits farther away from the head? the intake and headers are from a 79' concord. with that said i have no frigging idea whats going on anymore...................:censored:

I'll give you a couple clues. You need a longer cable not shorter. The product I mentioned is about 10x smoother than any O.E.M. jeep cable.
Think outside the box a little. :D mike

Clues?? Thanks.....j/k, why do i need a longer cable? does the cable its self need to be longer or longer pull at the carb end? i'v got it working fine, i think! i timed it using a vac gauge, timing light, volt meter for Rpms. i still might look into the lokar cable/pedel. What i do know is that i should of been in auto shop instead of learning how play ping pong in high school!!!

Hey Dan do you have coolant flowing thru your intake manifold? I see some funny little hose coming out where a 5/8" coolant line should be.

O that..... hummmm thats my "hot coffee hose", i like to have "hot coffee" on tap in the cab. ;)
