I agree with Gert and IO on this one. Headers are great on a Camaro, Boss 302 or pro street but for a woods runner I'd stick to manifolds. Headers will start to leak because of the thinner mounting flange and if you use your Jeep as a Jeep the heat and and suddeen cold from fording any kind of water causes considerable contractions in the metal which will loosen bolts , break gasket seals and cause leaks. Another point is the air flow, most Jeeps are used and low rpm's which don't require the flow gained by headers and as far as the power thing, unless you get inside the iron and start changind pistons, rods, valves, heads, cams.... the headers are for noise only and I kinda like the woods quiet. IMHO of course. I always replace headers with stock (if you can find them) or aftermatket manifolds.
