Help decifering these numbers

I was curiose exactly what I had for running gear so I scraped away as much grime as I could to reveal these numbers but can't find them on the net. it is possible I transposed a couple as it was very difficult to read

Transmission I found these

Transfer Case
DANA C18-1524-S(or5?)G

I am guessing on the Transfer case it's a C18 but looking at the spec sheet sticky for trans and transfer it shows 2 sticks on the transfer case and I only have one?

The Transmission is a 3 speed reverse all the way left and straight up 1'st straight back from reverse.

I couldn't find any numbers on the front and rear axle?

Second part to this is if you can tell me what I got, what are opinions on them what I can I expect for known issues performance etc:

I continued to keep looking on the net for the casting numbers, would the 1'st four be the identification, I saw what i thought was 1307065901 possible I miss read the 7 and was a 2 giving the 1'sr four of 1302 which would give me a T-14 tranny mated to a C18 Transfer Case ? I also came across this while searching thought I would post it

Baja thanks for your reply, the jeep body is a 1985 but nothing I don't believe is OEM, with the exception of maybe the axles? This is what I can tell you from the PO

The Engine is a 343 out of a 1969 AMX
Was told Transmission and Transfer were up graded to a T-14 cast iron, thats all I was told, I have verified the motor although there is still some confusion on the heads but that is being debated in another tread.

Are you thinking that I have a D18 Transfer with a T14 Trans? if so what can you tell me on them any good?

ok then, lets get to a few things
If you have a D18 tcase you will need to be running a rear offset diff, it will be offset to the passenger side. If not that is not a d18
the Dana 20 had one shifter also, but used a center pumkin differential in the rear.
do you have any pics?

an 85 should be running a Dana 30 in teh front and a AMC20 in the rear
but that may not be the case as the jeep is over 30 years old
hopefully you have a Dana 300 tcase, they are a great case

Sorry for the delay guy's been a busy week. Here are some pics from underneath the Jeep. The Rear Axel the pumpkin is in the middle of the axel, the front is off set to the passengers side of the Jeep. Hard to get a good pick of the Transfer Case but included on of the rear of the case Thanks for all your assistance with this

I personally guarantee it's not a d-18! Look's like a good ol' Dana 300 Transfer Case , Dana 30 front axle with a P.O.S. (whoops did I say that?) AMC model 20 rear.

Well now I am really confused LOL, I pulled the body cover so I could get a good look at the shift linkages, what I have is a single shifter the linkage then conects to two rails that go into the transfer as I move the shifter one will slide in then slide out and the other slides in heres the best I pics I could get, I oppologize for the full sizze but scaled down you really couldn't see the details?

I have to agree with "Lil'5 & CJ" from the other thread. That linkage does not look like a Dana 300 to me. A pic from the rear might help.

That is a Dana 20 . I recognize those square bolt heads.... Once the shift rails get worn you can get into just about any pattern you want.

you may have a home made shifter linkage, I think it is time to take that thing down to your local 4x4 shop and get them to identify that puppy. then maybe you can get straitened out. I have never seen a shift patern like that, or a sifter linkage lik that, I think we have PO shenanigans going on.

CJ I think you nailed it!!!! The Dana Spicer Model 20 Transfer Case - Novak Conversions Looks exactly like I have and does say it has duel range but does not explain the shifting pattern, is this case a 4H-2H-N-2L-4L pattern or is that caused due to worn linkages?
