Help with what will work off my Eagle for my CJ

I just bought a 81 amc eagle for some small parts and a extra engine for my 77 CJ5 . It is equipped with a 4 speed Transmission and is 4wheel drive. Will this work for any of the Cj's mine has a 3 speed and I was thinking about putting the 4 speed in at some point, and what about the rear end, is it something that will work in a cj?

Should I use the 2 barrel carb off the AMC or go ahead and get me a 2100 rounded up?

Engine and transmision is most likely the only things that you can use from the eagle. The Transfer Case is most likely diferent and the rear axle will be a dana 35. Even weaker than your AMC20 wich can be easily upgraded . If i had the choice, I would go for the 2100. Much better than the old carter.
