I thought I seen a post on here regarding rebuilding/adjusting the holley 390 cfm on a straight 6. But I cannot find it. Any help? I'm running a
offenhauser intake with the 390 4 barrel holley. I have a hard time keeping it running when cold. I have to be sitting inside when I start it with my foot giving it some gas to start, then I must keep it revving up or it will idle down and stall. I keep revving it up for a minute or two to warm it up then it runs and idles fine. If I drive somewhere then let it sit for an hour or so I have to repeat the process of the cold start up. Is this normal or do I need some work? I bought it like this from the PO so I'm not sure what the normal should be? Thanks

I would not call it a normal startup. I think you should consider low fuel pressure from a weak fuel pump, poor choke operation, low float bowl level in the carb, or the ignition timing could be a bit retarded.

I think Torx covered it all.
My first though was the choke.

X2 on choke
