Was wondering if anyone could tell me how to properly measure my axles in my 1980 CJ7 , they’re stock Dana 30 /AMC20 need to figure out if i have narrow or wide tracks. It’s a used jeep so who knows if they were swapped. I’m assuming you measure from the face of the axle shaft where the wheel mounts to the other face of the other shaft? Also does anyone have the stock widths of narrow/wide tracks. Thanks in advance.

50.5 and 54.5 wheel to wheel.
