I finally got a good look at the parts Dana 30 axle I got to do a disc brake swap on the CJ. Its only been sitting in the garage for nearly a year now!
I knew it was missing the short side axle. But for some reason it never dawned on me that every time I looked at it to check if it was a 5- or 6-bolt hub, I always seemed to come up with a different answer. Tonight I found out why...
Somebody ($&#*(@^) swapped in a 5 bolt hub on the short side while they were getting the axle out! LOL. So I have 2 different hubs on the same axle now.
The question I have now, is the rotor the same between the two, since I have another axle with a 6-bolt hub and no rotors? I'll be taking them apart this weekend to get ready for the swap (in another year it seems...
)
