I wanna work on my Jeep so bad it hurts!!!

Damn, I have so many other "have to do" projects that I cannot start on redoing my Jeep over. I still haven't finished renovating the new garage, my basement is ruined from the New England flooding, my pool just self destructed due to a rusty side all the the previous owner did not take care of so now I am installing a new pool, my yard needs it's spring clean up, oh and I am getting married so that is all the soon to be wife thinks thats all I should be worrying about right now.

I have a zillion things I want to do, redo, change, update and make better on my Jeep since I haven't touched it in over 5 years besides tune ups. Looks like she has to wait for awhile longer until my hands get to rub her down like she deserves. it's summer anyway so the Jeep should stay together to enjoy the ride I guess.

having said that i just got married last july and good news the wife wants to help me rebuild the jeep !!! oh im right there with you i want to work on mine too but untill i move in to a house with a garage she just sits in storage...

Married? Cause she is so cool that I can do and buy what I want. I have two motorcycles and my Jeep and she doesn't even care. I saw a bike I want a few weeks ago and she expected to see me just show up with it one day in the garage. I have full freedom over my toys as long as I keep my spending in check and pay the bills she is fine with it.

Ive been down this married road once before so I know what to expect. 14 years married my first time.

Kane, I have a awesome wife that let's me work on my jeep and supports what I do as long as I have money in my account to help pay the bills, she doesn't care. The garage is my Sanctuary and working and restoring my jeep makes me very happy.

Kane , Canadian im right there with you i love my wife she is great. The other day she was out under the mustang with me! She doesnt care what i do so long as bills are paid and im happy! In fact she kinda encourages me when it comes to the jeep i almost sold it a year ago and she kept me from doin it.

I had three bikes last year. I built a custom that I sold for what I put into it and she got very upset with me. I told her that the bike was about the build and I was done with it, rode it for a year and wanted to do something else. she still is mad about that.

its cool to be marriedjust dont let her drive the jeep,or you'll be putting another one together... because she claimed it!my wife has a 05' jeep liberty that im not allowed to drive(not that i really care too)but when i recently upgraded from a wrangler to a 450hp 360 bored 30 over 79'CJ7 ,i was waxing it all up and when i was done i asked her if she wanted to take a cruise...her reply"only if i can drive it"?me being good hearted said"why sure"...thinking as soon as she nails the fuel she'll be scared,right?WRONG!!!SHE WAS NOTHING BUT SMILES AND GIGGLES!!now she offers me her jeep and has plans to drive it to work and cruise her friends around when weather warms up!!!! USE CAUTION OR YOU'LL LOSE IT!!

i have a solution to that problem. same as my mustang. both are stick and she cant drive stick no problems there lol . Then again if you let her have that one it gives you a reason to build another jeep!!!

Patti can drive a good stick but she won't be using my Jeep on her own ever. I told her that I have been with my Jeep long before her and even before my last wife so she should expect it to be with me for long after. She gets it that the Jeep never leave my hands.
