THAT's where the oil goes?? I was thinking it wasn't pressurized enough with that cap. So just pull that off there and then pour it in?

Would I lie to you?? LOL. Yep, that’s it. The filler tube on mine was shortened before I got it, and the cap is right against the radiator hose - makes it a pain. The filler tube looks really odd, but you’ll get used to it [emoji106][emoji106]

As for the pressure - the pump creates the pressure and the crankcase shouldn’t be pressurized.....

I didn't think you were lying, I was just surprised that was where the oil went.

It worked like a charm though. the oil that was in this thing had to be ancient. it was black and smelled like fuel more than oil (although not as much as fuel does LOL). the oil filter had a 2012 date on it *sigh*

successfully changed the oil though without any issues!

It's a good thing you asked first, as both of those fittings are part of the cooling system and would have dumped out coolant.

Kinda late to the discussion but fuel smell in your oil generally indicates a bad fuel pump diaphragm.
I'd replace the fuel pump myself.
