Iron Duke Carb

I have a Weber on my Iron Duke the PO put on.
I have put a fuel pressure regulator on it, made sure every compontent of the electrical system is working properly and this thing is still making me mad. It wants to flood if I am on the slightest incline or have an extended drive.
Should I be looking at finding a stock carb or is there something I can do to this piece of dog ?

Check the float level and the condition of the needle and seat.

Jet size? Carb may be set up for 6 cylinders.

True. The Rochester 2GC carbs that came on them weren't that great in the hilly stuff either.

I guess I don't have any other option than to tear into the thing. Is there a link out there for working on these things? The Weber sight is no help.
