This is the first time I've been to Woot, and all I have to say is.....:dung:! Another website to form an addiction! Just what I needed, lol.

It's not always like this - usually just one item a day...

BTW - The Woot-Off is still going strong!

I need my 'Bag-O-:dung:"! :)

I never saw the Bag-O-:dung: yesterday. But the WOOT OFF is still going on!!!

Hey CJ, now that you've had a while to play with the Bushnell GPS what do you think about it? Woot has them on sale today, I'm thinking about getting one, but I don't know. Can you use it in the Jeep, does it have a windshield mount?

I'd say it works so so... I have used it for geo caching and such - it works pretty well. Getting maps into it is a bitch though - they are of very small areas.

Most of the reviews that I read on the Bushnell site weren't very flattering either. Most of all there are monthly charges to use the XM weather . I think I'm just going to stick to my trusty Garmin Etrex.

Whats up with the maps?
Thinking about getting one but if there are better options I'll pass on this.

The maps are small (area wise) so you have to down load a bunch of them if your traveling a large distance. They are also expensive unless you buy a year subscription to the download service ($40). Then you can down load all you want. That is what I did - I'm down loading maps whether I need them or not.

As for the XM subscription, that is a gimmie - it is a paid service. The good thing is that XM allows you to add and remove receivers on the fly, so it's easy to add the service when you need it and remove it when you don't. I believe you pay for the complete month though.
