Good lord, son - couldn't you have found a larger shop to spray in? You hardly have room in there to turn around..... I'd kill for a garage that size. Nice setup - anxious to see the finished product!!

In my next life I'm gonna have a garage to work in that's actually larger than a phone booth. (Gert - Those were very small little booths that had a pay phone in it. You stuck coins in it to pay for the call...... I'll see if I can find you a pic...... they were probly all gone by the time you were born)

That's crazy I painted my "78 Chevy 1ton Duelly with 1 gallon of base and 1 gallon cleal and it was blue also.

Here is a pic

I was gonna say I did mine with 1 gallon of color, and I did the hood twice, the fenders twice, a set of half doors, and still have enough to do the hood again since the garage door got it. Then again, I’ve never painted a vehicle before so makes me a bad reference.

I sprayed in a much smaller environment and my overspray probly helped coverage. You didn’t have enough paint to even get a haze going in your garage.... Looks great, tho - we need more pics.....

Another perty color for a jeep !

Oooh - VERY nice. You hit the inside of the tub where I did not. I bedlined, so that decreases my color requirement a good deal. That’s gonna look AWSOME assembled!!

Thank you! I have lots of polished stainless to go on it. The blue should really make them pop!

Let the assembly begin! I could open a Jeep restoration shop with all these parts!

Yes! OMG! This thing sparkles like a diamond in a goats ***! It is going to look great with all the stainless steel I have to put on it! Can’t wait to take it down the road!

We have narrowed the name down to two

“Old School” (my favorite) or
“Bleep” (combination of blue and Jeep) I also like this one.

What do you guys think?

I think when you get done with it your daughter will be driving something else.

Lol!! It’s already happened! She decided she wanted a square body truck. We found her a decent ‘79 Chevy short wide with a nice lift, tires and wheels and paint job. She’s driving that.
The Jeep is now MINE!!!

Got the bumpers painted today, got all of the fluids changed. Once the rear bumper mounted the chassis is 100% complete! Tomorrow morning, the tub gets mounted back on the chassis for the last time!

The front grille mount spacer is not stainless so I used some Sharkhide on it. That will keep it looking good and will prevent rust for many years.
