I really like my painless wire harness, took awhile of surfing through the different ignition and charging systems in the manual to figure out how to wire my engine bay but the dash was real easy

Yes, I’m loving this one. I needed most of the connectors and this kit comes with 90% of them.
At some point in this jeeps life there was a fire under the hood and got a lot of them. Most of the ones behind the dash were pretty molested. I bought the most complete kit Painless offered. It was about $900 at the time but was well worth the cash.

That’ll work! Many don’t care for the rocker mouldings, but I really like em. Makes the Jeep look finished to me. Probly cause my first one had em and that got me started.

Did you clear coat them? I wanna take mine down to a satin finish - then a clear coat.

Not yet. I have some stuff called Sharkhide I’m going to put on them. I have been using it on a lot of the unpainted bare metals, like the master cylinder. The stuff is awesome!
Clean the part with lacquer thinner and just wipe this stuff on. Dries in seconds. It’s not paint. It’s a type of metal treatment.

I love the rocker moldings. I’m with you, gives it that finished appearance.

And where might one get “Sharkshide”??? Inquiring minds would like to know.... [emoji51]
