Jeep won't stay running (ignition maybe).
Rollbar, could you take a minute and fill out your profile? tell us as much about your rig/rigs as you can. It occurs to me that I don't even know what year you are working on.:cool:

on the solenoid, which lug is going to the battery/alternator and which is going to the starter. the red wire should be on the back terminal close to the battery and alternator lug and the blue should be on the front terminal close to the starter cable lug.
the black wire is, I think tied into the neutral switch, do you have an automatic Transmission ?
Check continuity between the blue and red wire on the solenoid and the blue and red wires on the two wire plug on the ignition module.:cool:

OK, went to check it.

RED/ALT are on the back side where the + battery is hooked to.

The Blue is on the front side where only the starter is hooked to.

The black is just there, not sure where it goes.

FIXed IT!

Checked the switch re/red white/blue = all work.

Then at the fire wall inside the Jeep I have power except to the red/white wire, looked at the TAC lead, hooked it up and the rest is history.

I never hooked up/plugged in the TAC lead under the dash !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Runs perfect.

Sorry to run you all around for something stupid like a connector but I guess we all learned something from this thread.

I will post pics later.

Thank you so much,
Jim

P.S. Going back out to fiddle w/it, I'll check back later.

Ok, here is the video.

Oil Pressure:
60psi = cold

45psi = warm

24psi = hot

Still have to get the temp gauge & fuel gauge working.

Thank you all for your help.

Had the same problem with jeep not running after I released the key to the run position. I replaced many parts with no luck. By blind luck, just happen to notice that there is a 30 amp fuse under the dash for the coil. Bingo! Replaced the fuse and problem fixed.
